La Esperanza scrapes the clouds in the lush mountainsides of the Tarquis, located in the heart of Colombia's most renowned growing area, Huila southwest of Colombia. Here, Yeni runs her small coffee farm with the precision it takes to bring out the area's clean and characteristic flavors.
At La Esperanza she grows the typical coffee varieties "Caturra" and "Castillo", which many know from Colombia's very best coffee parties. The cool climate and nutritious soil create ideal cultivation conditions almost 2000 meters above sea level. Yeni processes the coffee berries she reaps on her own micro-mill attached to the farm. In this way, she can safeguard and quality assure the raw material all the way from flowering to dried raw coffee. You will notice that in the cup.
